Tim Hortons Cafe and Bake Shop opened up in Oman

Timmies is expanding overseas again. According to a press release they’ve opened up shop in the Sultanate of Oman – honestly have no idea where that is – but sounds nice! Apparently this is the 20th location in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and was opened by the Apparel Group – an organization that distributes global fashion and lifestyle brands in the region, namely Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, Aldo, Aeropostale and Nine West. Guess they are also looking to branch out and create another stream of income and besides dressing up, people need to eat.

“We’re thrilled that the Apparel Group has reached the milestone of 20 restaurants in the GCC, since opening the first location in Dubai in September of 2011,” said David Roy, Managing Director, International Operations, Tim Hortons. “With each restaurant, we are able to reach new customers in different communities and countries. We have a unique offering for the Oman market and look forward to bringing the Tim Hortons experience to guests in Oman.”

One more step to global domination.

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
