Visa payWave now accepted at Tim Hortons, allows you to grab your fix a bit faster

Timmies used to be an all cash business. This was probably good for them on paying millions of dollars in taxes, but times have changed. People have been carrying less cash and relying more on debit, credit or mobile. Tim Hortons started to accept debit payments in November of 2010, then credit card payment in May of 2015. Most recently they made Canadian history by becoming the first place to accept a mobile payment… but now eager coffee lovers can pay for their addiction via Visa payWave.

If you’re into using your Visa card then you can now ‘wave and go.’ Upon cashing out you can wave your Visa card over the terminal and simply walk away… there’s no need to enter you PIN or sign a receipt. Done and Done.

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
