Cookie Monster: “C is for Cookie, that’s good enough for me.”
Wise monster and words to live by.
The Ginger Molasses Cookie is another festive special that Timmies has produced, and it’s wonderful. Ginger and molasses are both relatively strong flavours. Ginger alone makes you squint a bit. Molasses is a thick, slightly bitter and has a hint of maple syrup and honey.
Ginger Molasses Cookie is only a buck and probably best shared as it’s kinda big. Just so you know what you’re getting yourself into, according to the Tim Hortons Nutrition Calculator, the cookie has 230 calories, 8 grams of fat, 38 grams of carbs and 212 grams of sugar. As you can see in the pics some of the sugar, mostly decoration, is sprinkled on top. The cookie is well designed, round and is the size of a mini coffee saucer. It’s also thin – maybe half an inch.
Upon biting into it you’re feel that you’re in front a fire on a really snowy day. This Ginger Molasses cookie is something you don’t rush through. The flavours have been blended correctly and the outcome is a moist and delightful cookie. This would actually go really well warmed up with some vanilla ice cream.
