Hamilton Tim Hortons robbed at gunpoint, nobody was injured and the Timbits are safe

Bad news here. A Tim Hortons in Hamilton — located at Upper Ottawa Street — was robbed at gunpoint at 3:00am this morning. The good news is that nobody was injured and the two robbers only left with cash. No Timbits, Honey Dip or lasagna was taken. The real value was left behind and people still lined up for their daily fix.

The CBC reported that “While one suspect stood by the door as lookout, the suspect carrying the gun pointed the weapon at a male cashier and demanded that he open the register, police say. The suspect then demanded that a female employee at the drive-thru window open her cash register, allege police.”

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
