This is amazing and clearly a new trend for 2014.
Call it deja vu or groundhogs day for Timmies, but every week seems to bring yet another vehicle blasting through the doors of Tim Hortons. If you don’t believe me, then see here, here, here and here.
According to a report by the Metro News, around 2:45pm today the Police were called to the Tim Hortons on Waverley Road in Dartmouth because a vehicle decided to plow over the concrete curb and head straight into the restaurant. Halifax police spokesman Const. Pierre Bourdages stated that “(The vehicle) pushed the main entrance in, and the windows are smashed.”
Luckily everyone is still alive and there were no injuries. The Roll Up the Rim cups are also safe and being watched with a close eye. Be safe out there and maybe for your own protection pick a table away from the doors.
(The above pic is not the Timmies in Dartmouth as we’re still waiting for an official pic from the Police or local resident).
