Have lunch with Ron Joyce, the co-founder — and living legend — of Tim Hortons

Ron Joyce. The Man. The Legend and co-founder of Tim Hortons.

Picture this: You chilling with Ron Joyce at a local Tim Hortons talking shop, Timbits and Dutchies.

Pretty stellar and it’s no dream. This could be your reality as TimeAuction has organized an opportunity for you to possibly score some of Ron’s valuable time. Time Auction is a site that trades volunteer hours and community service with a special conversation with a reputable Canadian. It’s like the popular crowdfunding site Kickstarter, but for charity.

Anywho, Ron Joyce has donated a some of his celebrity status to the cause. The official auction starts on March 24th and two experiences are up for grabs: “Have coffee and donuts with Ron Joyce” for 20 hours of volunteering, or “Tour JetPort and Ron Joyce’s private plane” for 40 hours of volunteering.

The above pic is from 1977 and the one below is Ron hanging outside his Jet — he owns a Hamilton-based private jet company called JetPort.

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
