It looks like another car has been claimed! This time the story is way better than the actual Corolla.
Deborah Armstrong of Caledon, Ontario took her daughter to the hospital after she fell and bumped her head. While waiting in emergency she ventured to the Tim Hortons, downed a coffee and rolled her rim, then “sat in silence.”
According to a report in the CBC, Armstrong said “I was sitting in triage with a lot of very sick people and people who had fallen on the ice — waiting for treatment. So, I didn’t think it was appropriate to scream out that I’d won.” It was her 28-year-old daughter that declared to the world that “My mother won a car!”
This year Tim Hortons has 50 Toyota Corolla’s up for grabs.
