How does one improve a cinnamon bun? You make it bigger and brand it with the word ‘Ultimate.”
The cinnamon bun is an amazing invention and I would go as far as saying it’s better than light. The combination of ingredients are spectacular. Tim Hortons unveiled the massive “Ultimate Cinnamon Bun” today and we shelled out a hefty $2.99 for this glorious handful of Mother Nature’s best ingredients.
It’s big. Actually, it’s so big that it shed the flimsy paper bag and deserved its own plastic bowl packaging. Upon ordering the Tim Hortons Ultimate Cinnamon Bun you must go into this experience knowing that you’re heading for something awesome. It measures in around 4-inches high by 4-inches wide. Unfortunately, the weight is unverifiable but comes in about half a pound.
Packed into this gem is a swirl of sugar, cinnamon, butter and lots of dough. It’s basically heaven for your stomach. What makes this cinnamon bun become an ‘ultimate’ bun is the experience. Tim Hortons employees will take this heavy delight out of the display cabinet, put it into a microwaveable container and pop it in for 20 seconds of quick radiation. The result is a masterpiece of warm and gooey goodness.
If you want to dig into the Ultimate Cinnamon Bun with your fingers you can, but make sure you have enough napkins to clean yourself up. Timmies execs understood the mess this Ultimate Cinnamon Bun could create so they included a spoon for you to down this baked good with.
From a nutritional perspective, forget about it. This is not for anyone who cares about their body. The Ultimate Cinnamon Bun is a perfect comfort food to wallow in your self-pity and forget about your terrible boss, or for the health-minded folks, perfect for your ‘cheat day.’
