Drunk man who smashed his truck through a Tim Hortons sentenced to 15 months in jail

Remember back in March of 2012 when an oil truck smashed a pickup truck through a Tim Hortons? Well, it was decided today 31-year-old Jake Krahn of Taber, Alberta, the driver of that oil rig, was actually drunk and has been charged to 15 months in jail for dangerous driving.

Justice Earl Wilson who compared Krahn “to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for his altered personality when drinking,” was also given concurrent sentences for impaired driving, possession of stolen property, uttering death threats and mischief. Those are pretty hefty fines and will most likely limit his work in the future, especially as a trucker.

Thankfully nobody was hurt when this happened in 2012. Video of the incident is below:

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
