Tim Hortons sticks it to Boston and shows its Canadian pride

Tim Hortons proudly backed the Montreal Canadians — who are only Canadian team participating in the Stanley Cup Playoffs — by shifting the name of one of its prize donuts. The Boston Creme became the Montreal Creme and Montrealers embraced it. The company also went as far as having an advertising campaign on game day that showed a half eaten Boston Cream Montreal Cream with the caption “Boston, On Va Les Manger,” which basically translated to we’ll eat you up and we’re hungry to win.

Last night the Montreal Canadians defeated the Boston Bruins 3 to 1 and clinched a spot in the next round. Timmies hopped on board this opportunity and put out another ad, this time with the donut completely gone. Solid Canadian pride.

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
