Tim Hortons has sold 400,000 km of Timbits since its introduction in 1976

A few months ago we posted some cool facts about Tim Hortons, along with a pretty infographic. Listed were some spectacular tidbits from the archives that noted:

– Timmies sells 8 out of every 10 cups of coffee in Canada each year
– Each year Tim Hortons serves 2 billion cups of coffee
– Only 3 people in the world know the exact blend & roast of Timmies coffee
– Tim Hortons coffee masters taste-test more than 75,000 cups per year
– Approximately 15% of Canadians (over 5.3 million people) visit Tim Hortons on a daily basis

With Timmies celebrating its 50th anniversary the coffee connoisseur declared another gem factoid:

“If you were to line up the number of Timbits sold at Tim Hortons since the invention of Timbits in 1976, the line would span across 400,000 km of road – approximately the equivalent of all paved roads in Canada.”

Boom. That’s a lot of donut holes.

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
