Being innovative and expanding its technology focus are a couple of Tim Hortons key initiatives over the next 5-years. Earlier today I was shown a demo of Tinkerine’s affordable 3D printer called the DittoPro. This retails for about $2,000 and can bring any image to life in a 3D manner. It’s a masterpiece.
The Vancouver-based company was kind enough to create a custom cup holder for me and this is the result. No more double cupping or cardboard sleeve for this addict. The 3D cup holder is made out of corn-based plastic and took about an hour to produce. It sports a maple-leaf handle and also celebrates Tim Hortons 50th birthday!
