Tim Hortons Camp Day 2014 raised $11.8 million

Tim Hortons Camp day happened on June 4th and it was announced today that the total amount raised was a respectable $11.8 million. The donations were all from Canadian and United States coffee sales, customers purchasing a tent in-store, and its text campaign. The monies raised — which is exactly the same amount as last year — will be put towards sending over 17,000 kids to camp.

Dave Newnham, Vice President and Executive Director, Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, said, “From our loyal guests and generous restaurant owners to our dedicated team members, local celebrities and volunteers, we want to thank you for making this year’s Camp Day a great success. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Foundation than by raising $11.8 million on Camp Day. As our largest fundraiser of the year, Camp Day has been essential to helping us make a true difference by sending more than 200,000 kids to camp by the end of 2014.”

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
