Tim Hortons Camp day happened on June 4th and it was announced today that the total amount raised was a respectable $11.8 million. The donations were all from Canadian and United States coffee sales, customers purchasing a tent in-store, and its text campaign. The monies raised — which is exactly the same amount as last year — will be put towards sending over 17,000 kids to camp.

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Foundation than by raising $11.8 million on Camp Day. As our largest fundraiser of the year, Camp Day has been essential to helping us make a true difference by sending more than 200,000 kids to camp by the end of 2014.”
