January 2012 saw Tim Hortons change us its cup sizes. The small become extra small, medium became small, large became the medium and extra large became the large. This made way for the new — and very massive — extra large new 24 oz. cup.
Two and half years later the extra small is on its way out. According to this poster that advertises that “in the coming weeks out extra-small cup will no longer be available.” Tim Hortons does note that we can continue to enjoy any of its hot beverages in the other 4 cups sizes. We’re guessing Timmies addicts have adapted to the new structure and generally consume more coffee.
Update: xsmall cups are now ‘no longer available.’ Hopefully the Tim Hortons museum kept some for the history vault.
