Tim Hortons ‘Double Double’ Visa and loyalty card now available to Canadians

It’s a dream no more!

The Tim Hortons Co-Branded Loyalty Rewards Visa Credit Card is now available for all Canadians. Sure, the last thing you need is another credit card, but this beauty is vastly different. It’s a combo Tim Card and Visa credit card and it’s called the “Double Double.

What Tim Hortons and CIBC have done is combined both within the card for a “first-of-its-kind technology” that offers loyal Timmies addicts the option to select between the credit card or redeem for rewards at Tim Hortons. As we’ve mentioned a number of times, the flashing lights indicate which card you are opting to use — either the blue Visa card to pay for products, or tap the white Tims button.

There is no annual fee for the card and the reward/loyalty portion is only at 1%. So lets say you spend $100 and change it on the card, you’ll get $1 in “Tim Cash.”

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
