The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was launched in Canada last February and it quickly became the “#1 best-selling sandwich” on its lunchtime menu. This famed blend of poultry, crispy batter, special Timmies sauce, and the soft bun has made this a winner.
CEO Marc Caira stated during a recent investor call that “We need to continue to offer our consumers unique differentiated products. In that, I’m very pleased. And in fact, if you look at our Crispy Chicken Sandwich which, by the way, it’s also very differentiated because it’s the lowest calorie of our competitors. It’s the lowest fat level of our competitors. It’s got a proprietary seasoning.”
This proprietary seasoning is getting an added kick. The Tim Hortons chefs have been busy and coming to all Tim Hortons next week — check July 21st off on your calendars — is a magical “Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich.” It’ll be another option for you to choose during lunchtime and will certainly send some heat down your throat.
