Tim Hortons “Store #1” in Hamilton is going to go through a massive renovation, one that will bring deeper roots to its 5-year heritage with an in-store museum. In addition, the when the new restaurant opens its doors it’ll also have a second floor and seat 40 Tim Hortons enthusiasts.
Back on July 24th, David Clanachan, Tim Hortons COO, said the renovation will start in “four to eight weeks,” but taking a look at Store #1 today sees work already starting. This picture looks like the construction workers are already plotting out the plans and bringing in the machinery for demolition. Hopefully they keep the commemorative sign and original Tim Hortons advertisement.
