Tim Hortons now has the “Chocolate Cheesecake” donut on its menu. This was quietly added a few days ago and one can blame Timmies for sneaking this in without much hoopla because of its Duelling Donut festivities, or the fact that the Oreo donut is still being pushed.
Regardless, it’s now available and is waiting for your belly to swallow it whole. The Chocolate Cheesecake is a filled donut and comes in the shape of a “flower”, topped with chocolate icing. Tim Hortons has not listed the nutritional info on its website so we have no idea the impact this will have on your health.
Update: According to our friends at Huffington Post, Tim Hortons have made the Chocolate Cheesecake Donut and the Strawberry Cheesecake Donut available at some locations. The strawberry cheesecake donut has 290 calories and 18 grams of sugar, and the chocolate cheesecake donut has 290 calories and 20 grams of sugar.
“Participating Tim Hortons restaurants only have a limited amount of ingredients to bake and create these cheesecake-inspired beauties,” says Michelle Robichaud, spokesperson at Tim Hortons. “In this instance, it will be a like a treasure hunt when our guests find them.”
