Tim Hortons recently filled its baked goods section with the lovely Smile Cookie. This initiative gave 100 percent of the monies raised to support local community charities, hospitals and programs. The Smile Cookies are each $1 and last year Smile Cookie campaign and raised over $5 million across Canada and the United States.
Timmies announced today that the proceeds from the Smile Cookie set a new record and topped $5.3 million. More than 500 charities are supported and David McMullen, Vice President Marketing, Canada, said, “Once again Tim Hortons generous guests and restaurant owners came together and showed just how powerful a smile can be. Year after year, it’s amazing how the Smile Cookie campaign continues to grow, raising the much needed funds to support local communities across Canada.”
