Tim Hortons has increased the prices of its coffee, steeped tea and breakfast sandwiches today

Today is the glorious day when we all give a bit more over to help Tim Hortons keep operating. Last we informed you that November 26th would see an increase in coffee and breakfast sandwiches and it’s happened. Prices have increased. For many Canadians, the price of a medium coffee and steeped tea has risen to a ripe $1.67 plus taxes.

Tim Hortons stated in an email to us that “We have been able to hold our pricing stable since Spring of 2011, however due to rising operational costs there will be a moderate increase on some of our menu items including coffee, and in some regions, breakfast sandwiches. On average our guests will pay approximately .10 cents more for their cup of coffee. That will bring the price of a medium cup of coffee to $1.70 including tax.”

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
