Today is the day where Tim Hortons gives back to the children with the annual Camp Day initiative.
The festive cups have been in stores and this fundraiser happens sees 100% of the proceeds from coffee sales will head towards the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. Last year Timmies owners and customers raised a whopping $12.2 million was raised in Canada and the United States through in-store and text donations. The program also sent 17,000 kids to camp.
“At its core, Tim Hortons Camp Day gives children from economically disadvantaged homes an enriching opportunity that helps build lifelong skills” says Dave Newnham, Vice President and Executive Director, Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. “Moreover, Tim Horton Children’s Foundation camps are specifically designed to help kids develop the skills and confidence needed to build a brighter future for themselves.”
