Tim Hortons tops the list of being the most-trusted brand in Canada

A new survey confirms what we already knew. Tim Hortons is awesome and is the “most trusted” brand in Canada. A survey by the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria had a sampling of 3,125 Canadians who ranked a total of 249 brands in 22 industries. The brands based on several characteristics, including quality, innovation, value, leadership and social responsibility.

1. Tim Hortons
2. President’s Choice
3. Shoppers Drug Mart
4. Google
5. Canadian Tire
6. Kraft Foods
7. Campbell Soup Company
8. Heinz
9. Canada Post
10. Johnson & Johnson Inc.

Saul Klein, dean of the business school, said, “It’s the emotional trust that differentiates brands, and it comes from a deeper alignment between what the brand is doing and what our own interests are. Canadians want to use our consumer dollars to make choices that reinforce behaviours we agree with, and if we trust a company to do that, we are a lot more likely to recommend it.”

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
