Tim Hortons employee caught stealing $200,000 from Burlington franchise

Well, this is not a good move. It is never a smart idea to steal from your employer, especially when it’s the best place on Earth.

According to a report by CTV, Mariel Abejero, 42, a Tim Horton’s employee in Burlington, Ontario, who was responsible for completing the bank deposits, has been charged with stealing a whopping $200,000. The owners of the Timmies were completing their year-end financial statements and noticed money was missing. Abejero is expected to appear in court on July 29th.

Bad move, Abejero. Bad move.

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
