Another quarter brings more profit. Restaurant Brands International Inc., the parent company for Tim Hortons, has announced its 3rd quarter 2015 results and declared sales increased 5.3% and increased the number of restaurant by 69 locations.
Although that sounds like a glorious bag of Timbits, the report indicated that revenue amassed to US$737.7 million, which is unfortunately down from $834.1 million (USD) from last year. RBI noted that this 11.6 percent drop is caused by the weaker Canadian dollar.
As for the leader menus items, “The launch of premium breakfast and lunch wraps and continued strength in beverages contributed to TH outperformance,” said the report.
