Woman steals a box of poppies from a St. Catharines Tim Hortons

This is like taking candy from a kid.

Somebody stole a poppy donation box from a Tim Hortons in St. Catharines on today at 525 Welland Ave. around 3 am. Shame.

According to 680 News, the police are investigating the theft and reportedly state it’s a woman, “described as white, between 20 to 35 years old, five-feet seven-inches all, 130 pounds, and having long dark wavy hair. She was wearing a bright pink shirt, dark pants, and carrying a dark jacket.”

The donations for the poppies goes towards the Canadian veterans, or to those who are currently keeping our coutry safe, and their families.

No indication on the dollar amount.

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
