The trend in Canada is to steal the poppy donation box at Tim Hortons

Looks like the trend of steeling poppies from Tim Horton location is real.

Last week, a women decided to attempt this and was later arrested. Today, according 680News, a couple teenagers opted to test their fate.

The reported note that the “Toronto police are looking for two men who stole a poppy box from a Bloor West Tim Hortons. Police say the men walked into the coffee shop, at 1094 Bloor St. W. near Dufferin Street, around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday. One of the men picked up the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy donation box while the other watched, then they both left.”

Apparently the duo are between the ages of 18-25 “with thin builds and brown hair.” They have probably showered and ditched their clothes by now, but “one man was wearing white shoes, blue jeans, a black hoodie with large white lettering, and a brown bucket hat. The other man was wearing black shoes, white pants, and a black sweater.”

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
