Tim Hortons is a magnet. People are simply drawn to the delicious beverages and baked goods. On a rare occasion, something whacked out happens.

Today is that day.

The 24-year old man stole a car and crashed into the Tim Hortons on Park St. and Goyeau St. around 1:20pm. He is now in custody and has been taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have confirmed an investigation is ongoing and no Churro donuts or Roll Up The Rim Cups were stolen.

Update: Well, this is not looking good for the ripe 24-year old. Police have confirmed that the man is facing 15 charges, including possession of a weapon, four counts of robbery, assault causing bodily harm. In addition, dangerous driving – because he smashed into the greatest place in the world.

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
