Tim Hortons giving veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members free hot beverages on Remembrance Day

Tim Hortons is continuing its commitment to honouring veterans.

The greatest place on Earth is already supporting the Royal Canadian Legion by having Poppy Collection Boxes at the front counter but on Remembrance Day – November 11th — Tim Hortons locations across Canada will be offering free hot beverages to veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members.

To score this free beverage all you have to do is wear a uniform or show your credentials. This is valid for any beverage in any size.

“We pause every year to remember and honour the contributions and sacrifices made by those who have served Canada in times of war and peace,” said Axel Schwan, president of Tim Hortons Canada and Americas. “From all of us at Tim Hortons, we give our sincere thanks to Canada’s veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members for their invaluable contributions to our great country.”

Participating restaurants currently have Poppy Collection Boxes at the front counter where guests can make a donation for a Poppy Pin in support of the Royal Canadian Legion.

I'm obsessed with Tim Hortons. It runs through my veins and I've probably spent enough money downing Steeped Tea's that I could have purchased my own franchise.
